I work at the intersection of formal verification, software systems, and AI. Over more than two decades, I have helped turn foundational research into industrial-scale systems, from scalable model checking and concurrency verification to optimizations for production AI infrastructure.

Today I am building Truidic to make AI-generated software more secure through scalable formal verification.

Selected work

Formal verification and concurrency

Pioneered scalable software model checking and concurrency verification; developed testing and verification techniques used in engineering tools at Microsoft and beyond.

Research leadership

Recruited and led Microsoft Research's RiSE group, supporting foundational work in formal methods, programming languages, and software engineering, including Lean, Z3, F*, and TLA+.

AI infrastructure

Developed techniques and systems including MSCCL and MSCCL++ to optimize GPU collective communication for AI workloads.

Truidic

Building industrial-scale verification technology for AI systems and AI-generated software.
